WoodWatch
Based in the Netherlands, WoodWatch designs and crafts unique, sustainably sourced wooden watches, along with eco-conscious accessories.
Made from natural, sustainably sourced wood, each timepiece results in fewer carbon emissions, uses less energy, is biodegradable, and avoids the environmental toll of metal mining. To further their commitment to sustainability, WoodWatch plants a tree for every watch sold in partnership with Trees for the Future. This initiative has already led to the planting of tens of thousands of trees across Senegal, Cameroon, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, the Philippines, and Bolivia.
With a shared passion for the beauty the world has to offer, it was clear that as a product photographer committed to working with brands that value sustainability, this was a collaboration meant to happen. I took the Dark Sailor watch with me for a spin around the Balearic Islands and through the desert to capture social media imagery.
Crafted from rich black sandalwood and blending natural elegance with precision craftsmanship, the Dark Sailor accompanies the mindful, modern man who values sustainability as much as style. Having worn this watch as my trusted companion through over four years of global travels, it still runs like new.
